Men Only

Published: Fri, 10/16/15

It's come to that time of year again, 2015 really is flying by.

Movember is almost upon us.  Each year we run a campaign to increase awareness of male health issues as part of the Movember charity.

Men really don't take their health seriously enough and very rarely discuss any concerns they have with their friends, partners or even doctors.  It seems talking is not very 'man' like.

At Team Achieve we're trying to change that.  As you know I openly discuss any issues I'm having, if I feel down, I talk about it.  If my diet isn't on plan, I don't hide it.  When I'm struggling, I speak about it.

I do so to encourage others to do the same.

I'm not trying to create a bunch of cry baby guys, just ones that are happy to talk about their emotions and health issues with friends.

Movember gives us the opportunity to do so on a bigger scale.

This year, we will be offering discounted bootcamps o guys who are prepared to go the Mo way and grow a moustache.  By discounted, I mean free, just a donation to our Movember Page.

This years campaign also includes an option for movement everyday for 30 days, we have added that option the last couple of years anyway.

This year we will make it more formal and run a little challenge for the 30 days.  I'll set up a private Facebook group and organise a Man Plan to follow.

If you would like to join our team sign up at - http://mobro.co/teamachieve

I'll send more details out next week.

PS  It's not really men only.  Girls can join if they are supporting a man to take part.

PPS Don't forget next Wednesday is Coventry's One Big Thing.  You can try a session at Achieve Bootcamp on the day for only £5.00.  http://www.achievebootcamp.co.uk/onebigthingcoventry/
