Don't waste it.

The clocks have gone back an hour.  It should have meant an extra hour in bed.

For those of you with young children or dogs, it's unlikely to have happened.

Our dogs are old and were cool.  I'm the problem, I wake up at the same time most mornings, with or without an alarm.

I managed to pull the covers over my head and get a few extra minutes this morning.

I'm going to use the clocks as a reset for my sleeping pattern.

We've got in to the habit of staying up later and then reading in bed.  Ideally for optimal health you should be in bed around 10.00pm with lights out by 10.30pm.

Tonight, I can go to bed at 10.00pm and be ready to sleep.  I'll wake up early in the morning but I'm going to use that time to get my day prepared.  I've been meaning to add some chi kung into my day for a while now.  Tomorrow I will start.

I'll also get my head planned for the week ahead.

Getting good quality sleep has a massive influence on your hormonal health which ultimately dictates body fat levels.

Sorting your sleep out is a simple way to start improving your overall health, which should be your ultimate goal.

Get started tonight, it is the easiest day the year to get to bed earlier and actually sleep.  If you wake up early and would like something to do you could always sign up to our early morning bootcamp - www.achievebootcamp.co.uk/selected.

PS  During the month of November, we will be running a daily challenge for fitness.  To take part we only want a £10.00 donation to our Movember fund - http://mobro.co/teamachieve. There will be a private Facebook group for the challenge.

We are also offering men the opportunity to take part in next months bootcamp for only £30.00; again a donation to the Movember fund.

That's a saving of nearly £70.00.  No clauses apart from being a man.

Obviously, growing a Mo will be appreciated and helps raise awareness of male health issues.
