...if you're not a morning person (like me)
The world won't end if you decide not to eat at the
crack of dawn (ugh!) if you don't like it.
Breakfast is JUST the first meal of the day
- whatever time you eat it.
I am RUBBISH in the mornings and these days
generally don't like to eat until 9 or 10am (although I
still get up at a 'normal' time - 6.30...ish)
Breakfast USED to be numero uno priority for me -
literally the first thing on my mind when i woke up
I could't imagine ever waiting 3, 4 or even 5 hours
after waking up to eat...WHAT???!!
Standard diet clubs will have you believe that if you
don't eat in the morning you'll be on a blood sugar
rollercoaster for the whole day and will end up eating
everything in sight as you can't control your cravings...
...but that happens on days we do have breakfast
too right?!
(Especially for me at the time of the month - regardless of
whether I've had
breakfast or not!! Then ONLY chocolate
will hit the spot)
Breakfast is a BIG issue for our newbies when they start
as people often panic when we tell them that cereal and
toast is off the cards...
...but ponder this...
Why is steak or tuna weird for breakfast when sausages
and bacon are perfectly normal?
Why is a
pork sausage alright and not a beef burger?
Why is smoked salmon often seen as a luxury breakfast
food but a fillet of salmon or tuna is 'just not right'??!
Here's a vid of a not-so-strange breakfast frittata to
give you a start
