Don't be the Diet You.

Published: Thu, 02/04/16

What is a diet?

It generally involves food that is a lesser version of its original self.

Less fat.

Less sugar.

Less calories.

Less salt.

They remove some stuff to try and market to us that its better.

It rarely is.

I've written in the past about the passage by Marianne Williamson that starts -

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure."

And the fact that most of us are not thriving in our lives and merely surviving them.

We're living the DIET versions of ourselves.

And diets add to the pressure to live a life that we're not in unison with, one that where we deprive ourselves because somebody told us that we'd be happier if we were lighter.

It's a lot more complicated than I can go in to here but if you are not working towards being happy, being lighter/slimmer/smaller will do jack shit for your happiness scale.

With our one-one coaching clients we focus on goals in all aspects of life to bring about general wellbeing and happiness.

When you are happy and feeling good all of the other stuff sorts itself out.

Stuff being weight loss and improved fitness.

Our 8 week transformation bootcamp will be focusing on the big picture.

You will be asked questions you may not be happy with, you don't have to share the answers with anybody.

You will be made aware of the answers in your head though, that information is then yours to deal with.

We will be there to support you if you need us.

We will guide you but we won't drag you along.

To be happy, we need to take responsibility for where we are and take action to move forwards.

A fad diet or crash course isn't going to move you closer long term.

Team Achieve has evolved over the past 19+ years, our focus is about helping our members create the best version not the diet version of themselves with lifelong habits and health.

If that is something you would like to be part of more details on the challenge is here 8 Week Transformation
