The ready mix pancakes were actually surprisingly tasty.
Fran said they were a little rubbery but I think that was because we very rarely have proper pancakes and the gluten free ones aren't as springy.
They did the job too. I would have eaten way too many if I made a mix up rather than the ready made stuff from M&S.
Trying to be perfect on a diet plan often leads to you feeling deprived and ultimately you will bounce back to the way you ate before, the way that got you to the
position to diet in the first place.
We believe that following our plan 100% for the first 4 weeks gives the best results.
It's just that some people aren't ready for that when they first start, we work with them to find a way that will
work for them and build upon the positives as we celebrate wins.
A win doesn't have to be something big like 10kgs lost. I counting a win today that I remembered I'm not eating crap chocolate when I was shopping earlier.
I walked past the
poppets, a sweet that I love, something about the chewiness.
One of my coaching clients had a massive win at the weekend. Lots of stuff went wrong and they didn't revert to poor food choices as a copying strategy.
This is something we've
spoken about for months and it happened without any drama or conscious thought.
I can't explain how proud that made me. There maybe some slips in the future, it doesn't really matter.
We're heading well and truly in the right
direction.
Did you add anything in for Lent?
I'm running this evening which will cover my 10,000 step goal for today :)
