'Oh that's expensive! Much more than the last instructor'

Two ladies actually said this to me last night...

...they had a bit of a shock when they returned to a class

they used to do that I've taken over from someone else.

In the past I would've apologised for the increase but 

having worked on my own self-worth a lot recently I

now make no apologies for the fact I charge more than

other Pilates instructors.

(It's not that I think I'm better than the other instructors - 

the only difference is I charge what I know I'm worth!)

Next month is my 20 year anniversary in the fitness industry - 

--------------------------------I know I don't look old enough!!

But...I did my first 'vocational' qualification in the semester

break during my 2nd year at uni in 1996.

... I've got a degree... I've got 20 years experience... I've done 

multiple vocational qualifications... I've spent thousands

developing my skills & knowledge... 

...I don't 'just' teach classes; I provide an experience, a 'journey'

(cue the cheesy X-factor music...)

So why shouldn't I charge a 'premium'???

It's the same for everything we do - Darren is the

most 'expensive' PT, our bootcamp is the most

'expensive' bootcamp....
