"The only excuses I have are the ones I make up for myself".
Speaking to one of our members on Monday morning about this next month and their goals and what could stop them achieving them, the above was what he said.
And it rang a few bells in my head too.
How many times have you started out on a path to better fitness or on a diet and fell at the first hurdle?
You convince yourself that it will be different
next time and you'll definitely stick to it.
Then exactly the same thing happens again.
We then make excuses and justify these behaviours to ourselves.
There are many reasons why, most commonly not being fully attached to your goal or your method.
Not having a strong enough reason to actually WIN at the goal.
Take a bit of time out today to think about your goals and if they are the right ones for
you.
It's ok to quit on a goal if it is not what you really want.
Reset your goal to just one thing you want to achieve and do everything you can to do it.
If you need any help, we're here.
