I mean the underwear variety not trousers for those of you from across the pond.
I run 10k every Monday lunchtime partly as a catch up with my mate and partly because I'm training for a duathlon in April. There's to much chatting to be considered a proper training run :)
Yesterday I made a mistake, essentially I was too lazy to go back in the house and change pants.
Big mistake.
By the end
of the run I was suffering from some major chaffing, today my fun garden still isn't happy.
Walking my 15,000 steps today hasn't been comfortable.
You wouldn't think a pair of pants could make that much difference but I can assure you they do.
I normally wear a sport-type boxer with a bit of leg length when running, yesterday just a casual pair; too much information?
I won't make that mistake again.
An underwear
company asked me recently to review a pair of their boxers and this seems like an appropriate time to do so.
These are the pair I ordered - http://www.2undr.eu/power-shift-crimson.html
I was impressed when the were delivered as they come in a fancy box, so I think if I received them as a gift I would be chuffed.
They fit really well and look style, Fran says they contain my substantial ass too.
There's a joey pouch to put
your junk in, which I wasn't sure about when I read about it but is actually really comfortable. It also means you don't feel as sweaty when out on a hot day or running.
I order the long pair and then worried they would be too hot. A special wick-a-way type material solves that problem.
They're quite expensive but I think they are worth it. It's a shame I didn't know about them before I went trekking in Nepal as I think they would be good
for multi-day usage with the pouch thing being handy at reducing heat.
I guess the most important part of a review is whether I would actually pay for a pair of them.
Yep, although I'm going to go for a couple of pairs of the short leg version for running in the summer. My current pair show a little at the bottom of my shorts and I'm not that sort of guy ;)
