Thank you for all of the support following yesterday's blog.

It's seems that I'm not the only one struggling to find their mojo at the minute either.

It could be the time of year, the change in seasons and weather does weird and wonderful things to us.

It could be our current political climate, are we in or out, a source of uncertainty outside of our direct control.

What I know for sure is with a little support, it is possible to regain your mojo and go on to achieve amazing things.

You may have noticed in the blog that I stated 'I'm need to be better at dealing with the unknown'.

Rather than 'I'm not very good at coping with the unknown'.

It was on purpose and something I encourage my students to do when they start with negative self-talk.

It's not good to give yourself a negative statement, it's much better for our brains if we give them a 'command'.

Focus on the language you use with yourself and you may be surprised and even horrified.  You wouldn't have many friends if you used the same words or intentions.

How many times have you stood in front of a mirror and berated the way you look?

I'm not suggesting the you try and be all happy-flappy but focus on the positives you have and switch the language you use to a more instructional tone.

Rather than saying 'I hate my fat belly' switch it too something like 'I would like my belly to be slimmer'.

It essentially means the same but the way your brain deals with the words are very different.

It's not easy and you will probably catch yourself reverting back to the negative words, just try and change one sentence about yourself per day.
