Every 4 weeks our Achieve Bootcamp members take part in a little grading.
A timed workout so that they know they are heading in the right direction.
There's no pressure to be the fastest or even record your times for those that don't like it but for others they 4 week fitness check keeps them striving to work that little bit harder.
As I'm from a martial arts background, I set our grading system up to tie-in with the sash / belt
system.
Each time our members improve, they are awarded with a new band / keyring to symbolise their level.
This morning, Cat achieved her Black Tag. As you'd expect for any black belt type thing, the workout is a tough one.
I couldn't be there this morning but Fran told me the encouragement from our other members to get Cat through the final stages of the session was amazing and something we are very proud of.
It's
brilliant that our members of all shapes, sizes, ages and fitness levels come together to cheer each other on.
It was one of the reasons I created Team Achieve.
I wanted our members to be more than just members and I feel that we have achieved that.
The main reason was to help people get results, I received this today that proves what we do works.
"I have had another good result - my total inch loss (at end of week 7) now
stands at 26 (roughly 7 off my waist) and I've also lost 15lbs. I was in size 16 clothes, and last night jumped for joy when my size 12 white holiday trousers fitted perfectly which they haven't for a couple of years!"
