We were at an amazing wedding in Devon on Saturday. The venue was stunning, over looking the sea in it's own private cove.
It was a fantastic day celebrating the marriage of a great couple.
We sat on a table with a group of friends we don't see regularly enough.
We always have a great time when we get together, there is no effort needed; just laughter and chat.
A lot of food was consumed.
A lot of alcohol was drunk. A lot of the dance floor was torn up.
A little too much alcohol and dancing, my hangover is only just starting to fade.
I had to pull over for a sleep on the M5. Not actually on the M5, we got the dogs blanket from the back seat and lay down on the grass verge at the services.
I just needed a little nap and a chance to allow my head to ease.
It gave me a chance to reflect on
the weekend and smile as we looked through some of the early pics on FB.
We all spend so much time focussed on life and work that we forget to spend time focussing on the important aspects - family, friends and FUN.
It's time to change that and set a regular meet up.
Do the same, get in contact with some friends you haven't seen for a long time and arrange a time to just be.
Some time together with out the need of a
wedding or other occasion. Yes, we're all busy but what is life about if it's not to live and enjoy.
