Death and destruction is too common in the media.

The atrocities of terrorism and what is happening across the world put our own lives in to perspective.

However, we can only control what we can control and we quickly become overwhelmed if we get caught up in the medias description of how we are all doomed.

Something I get my coaching clients to do and may seem a little petty at the moment is to report 3 positive things that have happened that day.

It doesn't have to be ground breaking stuff; getting to work without a traffic jam can have a massive affect on my day.

Poppy splashing about in the lake.

Seeing Fran unexpectedly; as in when I'm driving home and not expecting to see her and she is travelling in the opposite direction.  A quick wave and I'm smiling.

A kick to the face ;)

There is so much negative reported that we forget that every day there are lots of positives.  Positive stuff just doesn't sell papers or make the news.

Look for the positives and they become more visible, they are everywhere.  Hiding in plain sight like the sneaky little Pokemon :)

A big positive for me today was watching the clip at the bottom.  I love the Rock and this made me love him more.
