Decisively Indecisive

One of our new housemates struggles with sleep.

We thought we were getting there when last night he threw a spanner in the works.

I took him through to our room about 1.30am as I couldn't settle him, our dogs were already in there as September now seems to be the month for fireworks and Pop was tremoring when we went to bed.

At about 3am housemate 2 arrived.  She'd had a bad dream.

Fortunately we have a massive bed.

Even so, Fran and I couldn't settle as we were worried about the housemates.

Fran then babbled on for about 45 minutes deciding what to do, whether to wait it out or go through to the housemates room and the sofa bed we set up in there.

That way at least one of us would get some sleep.

45 minutes deciding on something that should have took seconds.

Sleep deprivation and being new to the parenting side of things led to the amount of time being extended.

Once the decision was made, Fran went and got another few hours sleep.  I wasn't that fortunate but we've found that as long as one of us is chipper it pulls the other one up.

We have the same happen with people deciding to join bootcamp or our other services.

They think over every element, worrying about every possible outcome.

One lady took nearly 3 years to make the decision to join.  She loved it and her results were amazing.

We need the time we need to make important decisions, this email is just a little reminder that we're here and start on Monday 3rd October for a fresh block.
