October has a good ring to it.

We have Stoptober for those that want to stop smoking.

There's also Sober for October to avoid alcohol for October to support Macmillan Cancer Nurses.

As with Lent this year, I'm going to switch it around and have Startober.

Since the new housemates moved in, I've struggled to get in to any sort of routine with exercise.

I had delusions that I would be able to do some quick conditioning sessions at the end of the day, by the time we've got them to sleep and cleared up the war zone, a quick cup of tea and getting ready for bed is about all we've managed.

On Friday, I managed to get over to the lake for a swim for the first time in 6 weeks.

Yesterday, I went for a short run.

Today it's my turn to take the dogs for their long walk.

I'm going to aim to do just a short session every day for the month.

I can see why our 6.30am session at bootcamp is so popular, our members are done by 7.15am and are back home to get ready / get their kids ready before most people have got started on the day.

We pride ourselves at Team Achieve that our camps are so successful for fitness and weight loss in only 3 45 minute sessions per week.

No long boring sessions for hours at the gym.

If you are ready to get fit but haven't got unlimited time, come and give us a try; we start tomorrow.
