That was the message I saw on a jiu jitsu
t-shirt this week.
I have to be honest, until recently I agreed.
I love a coffee, I enjoy tea and have recently discovered Yerba Mate which tasted amazing.
Equally, I love fruit and herbal tea and they are generally my choice in the afternoon and evening.
I kept the two types of drink separate, I know that having caffeine after 12pm really affects the quality of my sleep so would
avoid it in favour of the herbal teas.
However, recently I’ve fancied a coffee after lunch and the only way for me to do that is with decaf. Coffee bags or my mate Graham have provided the goods.
One of my friends enjoys coffee but the caffeine makes her feel jittery so she opts for the decaf version, a win / win.
If caffeine gives you the jitters it might be worth looking at caffeine-free or reduced caffeine
options.
