We got a cold bath in November, I really
noticed how much better my joints felt when I got out of the lake on Friday’s and thought it would be good on a full time basis.
Fran also noticed my Amazon habit calmed dow a lot too.
It was definitely worth the investment.
Admittedly, it is a bit of a pain to empty when it needs cleaning, over the winter it was only every 3 weeks, now it’s getting warmer It’s less than 2 weeks. This also coincides with Fran
and the kids using it though.
The first few times I connected a jet wash to the outlet and sprayed down the patio, then I bought an attachment for a hose that used a drill to pump the water out quicker.
I needed a longer hose and a better drill to reach the areas of the garden that needed the water most.
It still wasn’t very quick though and required me to have the drill running for ages.
Then I came up with a faster, more efficient solution.
The simple bucket.
In and out in 3 seconds, 15 litres at a time, easily poured anywhere that needs it while getting extra steps in.
The perfect solution.
I’m disappointed in myself that I didn’t think of it at the start and that I spent time and money searching for solutions that weren’t as effective.
We see it in health and fitness all the time, a new set of wheels for your bike that shave 100’s of grams and promise to make you faster at the cost of hundreds of pounds. A really expensive nutrition plan or fitness class that promises results when couple with a healthy lifestyle.
Find the bucket, the basic thing that you can follow easily and stick to consistently and results will follow.
I felt a little rough this morning and
my friend asked me if I’d been doing the basics, was I taking my greens. For the first time in months, I actually have consistently this week.
What made the difference?
The fancy new bottle that I got with the relaunch pack of Lean Greens. It’s made it easier for me and front of mind.
The relaunch event is finishing over the weekend, here’s the link - https://leangreens.com/achieve if you want to check them out.
