We went to London last week.
The girls went to Frozen the musical, Me and A went on an “adrenaline” adventure.
Starting with the London Eye and then on to Sealife - London Aquarium.
A was really excited to see the sharks, as we’d watched the Jason Statham film the MEG 2 recently.
The sharks didn’t disappoint. He was fascinated and we were both in awe.
The first
section walks over the shark tank, A lay down on it to get a better look and pretend to be eaten, no fear at all.
I noticed other kids were a bit scared as we walked through the tunnels etc, it became obvious that their fears were in fact their parents fears passed down.
A friend once told me about picking spiders up from the house by wearing thick gardening gloves so his kids weren’t scared to pick up spiders. They didn’t realise that
he always seemed to be doing some indoor gardening when a spider was present 😂
Have you got any fears that are holding you back from achieving anything?
How many of those fears are your own and how many have you inherited from friends and family?
Our fears aren’t always about doing scary stuff like crossing a ridge on a mountain.
Simple stuff like trying new foods could open up a
whole new world of flavour and variety making weight loss goals easier.
My Dad wouldn’t try any new foods until we had a student live with us for a few years and she introduced him to homemade curries. Everything changed then and we started having other exotic foods like spaghetti bolognaise, pizza and chilli’s 😂
Don’t let somebody else’s fears prevent you from achieving more.

need a bigger boat” Checkley
Sharks only kill about 10 humans per year; humans kill tens of millions of sharks, the fear works the wrong way.
