Not like that. Just like that.
My mate Cowboy and my Instructor Dave said that at Jitz a couple of weeks ago, quoting the late great Tommy Cooper. It was to do with a mistake I was making and improved the technique immediately.
There are little nuances in pretty much everything in Jiu Jitsu that influence how successful the technique is. None of those nuances / details make any difference at all if you don’t get the basics right.
The same
is true with nutrition, everyone is looking for the magic trick or hack that they’ve been missing which will give them speedy lifelong results that have eluded them so far.
However, those hacks and magic tricks do nothing long term if the basics aren’t there.
Simple stuff like:
Eating vegetables.
Managing energy balance - how much you need vs how much you consume.
Being hydrated.
Sleeping well.
Thinking well.
Moving your body on a regular basis.
Sweating most days.
Get that right consistently and results will be much easier to achieve.
If you need a little help with that, we’re here to help.
