I’ve been for an eye test today, Fran had
booked A one and I jumped on the bandwagon.
My mum has some eye conditions and I thought it would be worth getting checked out.
They asked “When was your last eye test?”, the girl was surprised when I said it was when I was 18; 33 years ago. It wasn’t a fancy one with computers and scanners etc either, just some letters on a wall at the police headquarters in Birmingham.
I’ve had all sorts of fancy
scans today and got the all clear from anything nasty.
Although the cheap make up on holiday may have led to a little blockage in the fluid ducts 🤦♂️. Some drops and a heated eye mask will sort that out.
Some better quality glasses for reading in bed will apparently be worth it too.
The [point of this message, isn’t actually about eyesight or glasses though. It’s to remind you and myself not to put off
health checks, prevention and early detection / action are always better options than trying to resolve an issue once it’s established.
Even with something as simple as weight loss, if we took actions when we first noticed a few pounds going on it would be so much easier to get “back in shape” when we’re a couple of stone in.
Establishing where you are now, makes setting targets a more productive process, we can help with that.
