A term I’ve been called in the past but this
isn’t about that 😉
I’ve completed some acupuncture training today and a friend asked me what it felt like.
I’ve had hundreds of needles placed in me over the past 48 hours, often in the same points and the worst it’s felt is a bit of a sharp prick that has eased over the first couple of seconds. Most of the time I was unaware that the needle had even been put in.
Sometimes the point lead to some
tingling, pulsing, warm sensations and an occasional numb spot in another area.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience working with some great therapists.
We covered acupuncture for a variety of different conditions / ailments from irregular and painful menstruation through to lethargy, anxiety and addiction.
Obviously, I ordered everything I need before I even finished the course 😂 and will be adding
acupuncture to the services we offer here.
I think as a hybrid service, combined with mindset and nutrition coaching to improve the potential results.
I have a final assessment and some admin hoops to jump through first, which will likely take a couple of weeks to complete.
I will let you know more nearer the time.
