In response to my messages over the past week, somebody asked me to just let them know what supplements we actually do take regularly.
So here they are:
Greens drink - We all have a Greens drink every morning, Fran and I eat plenty of veggies but the kids take a lot of convincing and aren’t consistent with them. So we use a greens
drink to make sure they are getting some vegetable nutrients in. https://leangreens.com/darren
Vitamin D - definitely worth having over the winter, particularly if you tan well or have dark skin naturally. https://amzn.to/3Z4KHel
Magnesium - according to the internet, we’re
all really deficient in it and it’s relatively cheap for a decent quality one. It can help with sleep, relaxation and reduce muscle cramps amongst pretty much every function we have in our body. https://amzn.to/40JwB39 Our friends at Lean Greens have just launched an update to their great sleep based Magnesium too. https://leangreens.com/darren
Turmeric - The evidence on the anti-inflammatory uses of turmeric is brilliant. I have a few past injury issues that are helped with turmeric, I give my Mum it every day too as part of her pain management. https://amzn.to/3UO8QmL
Fish Oils - Fran has this every day for joint health,
i do when I remember. The best cost for quality we’ve found is from Lean Greens. https://leangreens.com/darren
Creatine - The internet is full of people telling you to use Creatine for muscle repair and to improve how your muscles look. We have it for the research that shows how much brain health and cognition is supported, they are all pretty much the same and I
tend to pick the one on offer at the time. One of my client prefers the gummies. https://amzn.to/3AC1Pi1
Again, supplements should be just that, supplementary. Get the basics of health right and you will benefit from supplements, if you are not looking after the basics, you are simply wasting money
