I missed yesterday’s email / blog post. I had a really busy day and then a friend came over to help me, read - do the actual technical side, fit a sink in our cabin so I can get the local council license to do acupuncture.
It went better than expected and we pretty much got it done.
However, it was 10pm by the time we packed the
tools away. I remembered I hadn’t done my mile walk for the day and got him to drop me off up the road on his way home.
It wasn’t until I was about to turn my bedside light off that I remembered that I hadn’t written an email. I’m committed to this goal but not enough to get out of bed when I’d already nodded off while reading.
What does my failure mean?
Nothing.
I did 27 days
in a row, I’m disappointed but I’m just going to keep going and finish strong. I’m still way further ahead than I was at the start of November and I’m really enjoying writing again.
Good news is, the meeting with the licensing lady went really well and I just have a couple of little tweaks to sort out before being all set up.
It’s the dreaded Black Friday and a few people have asked for recommendations on massage guns and ice baths as
there are lots of deals around.
Here is our ice bath set up - https://collabs.shop/ulegir It’s pricey but me and Fran go in most days and feel a lot of benefit.
The first set up we had from Lumi has a great offer today - https://collabs.shop/njfvag Which is a great deal
and enough to get you started. We only upgraded because we couldn’t get the temperature low enough from May onwards. Our garden is South facing and a sweat box though.
Massage gun wise, I use this one https://collabs.shop/op8xui Which is really quiet, looks really cool and is really well made, some I’ve used just feel rubbish. I am considering upgrading to the pro as
the Theragun I use with clients is really loud and the battery is fading.
However, remember a deal is only a deal if you were considering getting it a full price. Don’t be tempted to buy anything just because it’s a bargain - that was a note to myself 😂
