is today.
The clocks have gone back an hour, which means if you normally go to bed at 11pm, your body will feel that amount of tiredness and be ready for sleep at 10pm.
Your body will also wake up an extra hour on the clock tomorrow, get up and get started with your day.
Do that for a few days in a row and
you have a new sleep routine where you are taking care of yourself.
As we get older we need to prioritise sleep, as it has a massive influence over so many aspects of our health.
From hormonal balance and mood to food cravings and desire control.
I’m using this clock change like a timeline in a Marvel movie and having a little reset. A refresh of character, of who I want to be.
Over the last 6 weeks,
I’ve struggled to add in any extra’s to our increasingly busy lives. The kids have had a few challenges and they have been our priority, they always will be.
However, I have said lots of times, I write these messages to myself as much as any of our subscribers, clients or members. They help me clarify my thoughts and remind me of the type of person I strive to be.
We have Movember starting on Friday and I’ll commit to
writing a message each day. Movember was established to raise awareness of men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer, more recently it has evolved to include more focus on mental health.
That is important for both sexes and I’ll focus on that over the next few weeks.
