I’m not being judgy here, just showing that life is about balance.
When I came in from work this morning, Fran had our breakfast on the go. The aforementioned chip omelette.
We quite often have random leftovers for breakfast, this was a new one on me though. Fran let me know, when I’m out for a big walk on a Sunday morning, she quite often has the left
over Chinese chips in an omelette.
It tasted a lot better than it sounds and for balance we had a full bag of butterhead salad between us. Although, I did have a big wedge of fresh from the oven banana bread for breakfast pudding.
Luckily, I stated that breathing, sleep and hydration were my priorities for this week.
To get started on sleep, we actually went to bed at the same time as the kids last night and I
think I was lights out at 9.30pm. The result, my first strong green recovery since my operation.
I haven’t practiced any breath work yet, I’ll do that tonight before bed. I’m just going to do a few minutes of extended exhales.
Hydration has been pretty good, my tea mug is pretty much 500ml and I’ve had 2 lemon & gingers, 2 peppermints and I’ll have a tulsi before bed. I’ve also had a cappuccino and about 500ml of
water.
You don’t need to have a perfect plan to improve your health, you simply need to be consistent with a few things that take you closer to your goals.
