We spent last week in the Isle of Wight, we were really lucky with the weather and were blessed with bright blue skies most days.
We had a great time, lots of time on the beach, visiting parks, zoos, farm etc. Obviously, there was a few trips to a local bakery that did amazing breakfast pastries and donuts.
I was told that being on the
Isle of Wight I would definitely get to see a red squirrel in real life. I’ve never seen one, although I’ve spent time in places where they are apparently thriving.
I still haven’t seen one, despite walking 30+ miles, much of which along woodland and coastline at the time of day they would be out.
Fran saw one, so did some of the girls we were away with. Maybe red squirrels are sexist?
I did see a
stuffed one in a zoo but don’t think that really counts.
I guess all I can do is put my faith in the people who say they exist and stick with the process of putting myself in situations where they might appear.
The same is true for getting fit or losing weight. You simply have to put your faith in the process and keep putting yourself in situations where getting fitter or making better food choices are easier.
If you consistently do things that raise your heart rate or you sweat a little, you will get fitter.
If you consistently make food choices you know will serve you better, you will be healthier.
Consistency is key.
There isn’t a perfect fitness or diet plan, just versions that will be easier to follow consistently. If you need help working out which will be best for you, we’re here to help.
