Firstly, Happy New Year!
I hope you had an amazing Christmas and start to 2025.
Secondly, apologies for radio silence during December. 29 emails / blogs in November, 0 in December.
I simply didn’t set the time aside to get them done when it wasn’t part of a little task / game I set myself.
Today is the day we traditionally start our resolutions / goals for the year ahead. It’s a Wednesday though and I’ve tried hard but we still have some non-ideal food in the house.
I actually hadn’t planned on starting anything today though, so all is good.
I did step on the scales after training this afternoon and gravity was pulling a little harder than before Christmas 😳
I have some time set aside tomorrow to knuckle down and plan what I’d like to achieve this year and make a plan towards that.
Journaling has been missing from my routine for most of the last quarter and I can certainly tell from a performance in life point of view. I’m looking forward to getting back in to the routine of that.
I like to set targets that I can track the numbers on, hence aiming for 30 emails
in November. It sort of makes a game out of chasing the goal, it works for me, I just need to make sure that I set multiple targets to aim for so I don’t hit one then do nothing, hence zero in December.
Social media is going to be full of all sorts of misinformation over the next 4 weeks, if you have any doubts over the validity of something you see, please ask and I’ll do my best to clear up any confusion.
As always, the best results
come from doing the basics consistently. The fancy stuff can change the pace of results a little but long term, the basics win every time.
