We’ve just watched The Sooty Show with the kids, they found the DVD when we were packing the Christmas stuff away.
Watching it with the eyes of an adult that is currently planning their goals for the next quarter / year, I noticed that Sooty just cracks on.
A suggestion is made and he gets cracking straight away, no planning or
worrying about the details.
Long term, it’s not ideal. Sooty, Sweep and Soo get in to some scrapes as a result.
However, short term it’s perfect for gaining momentum while you iron out the details of what you want to achieve.
I trained and went in the cold bath yesterday. I’m going to Jitz tonight, swimming in the morning and out for a hike / run tomorrow evening to get started on the plan I haven’t
written yet for the Coventry Way.
Food wise, we’re still finishing off a few bits and bobs but we’ve started with a good breakfast each morning. That will expand to more meals as the week goes on.
The perfect plan is the one you do, crack on and work out the details at a later date. If you need any hand with that, we’re here.
