It seems like today was actually the start of the year.
The first Monday, when everyone got back to their routine and started the New Year, New Me stuff.
I like to start my journal on a Sunday, so I’m a day ahead.
The clarity I get for the day when I plan out what I need to get done during the week and
break it down in to slots is amazing, all with my quarterly goals in mind.
I haven’t got any big scary goals this quarter, I simply want to get back to doing the basics well again.
Although, I’ve completed an acupuncture qualification this evening, I started training for the Coventry Way on Friday and me and A got our first Battle Royale win as a team on Fortnite. I guess they are pretty major things in some ways.
Did you start a new plan, fitness or nutrition?
Maybe, you’ve committed to try some meditation or mobility work.
Lots of coaches and trainers moan about the short term affect of January on goal and lament people for trying to start. I think it’s a good time to build some momentum, when everybody else is trying to do the same.
If everybody tries to move forward with their goals a little and
supports each other, surely the energy flow will drive us all along more smoothly.
The key is to maintain that momentum as the others start to fade.
We can help with that.
