I’ve been using my journal this week for the first time in months and I’m achieving so much more as a result.
I set out the things I wanted to achieve at the start of the week and have been working towards them since.
It’s not a flood of emotions type journal, pouring my heart in to it Adrian Mole style.
It just
asks a few questions each morning and evening.
How am I feeling right now and what can I do to improve that?
Who will be impacted by my actions?
What am I excited about?
Who do I appreciate and how can I let them know?
What behaviour don’t I want to do and what will I do if I notice I am?
Then a list of 4 things to work towards
over the day that move me towards my bigger goals.
Each night I review how the day went and if there is anything I need to push to tomorrow.
It works and my brain feels happier as a result.
I’ve only achieved 2/4 today due to some unexpected IT problems, I contacted the relevent people and they can be shifted to tomorrow and next week.
What can you do that would make achieving your
goals easier to do?
