In the car on the way to a sensory therapy session earlier, the news reported that Linda Nolan of the Nolan sisters had died.
They played a snippet of an interview from when she was first diagnosed with cancer nearly 20 years ago. I can’t remember the exact words but A was quietly listening in the back of the car.
After a few
minutes he said he thought that was a a good idea.
I questioned him about what was.
“That if you are going to die soon, you shouldn’t worry about it and you should fill your days with meeting your friends and having fun, seeing your family and enjoying the rest of your time”.
He summed it up perfectly.
But why wait until you get some bad news about your health?
Wouldn’t it be better to start actually enjoying life while you have good health.
And with that in mind, actually taking care of yourself so you have good health for as long as possible.
Sometimes that might mean you need to tweak the path you’re following, sometimes you might need to go in a completely different direction.
Time invested in your health, mindset and well being will never be wasted.
Don’t wait to get started.
