The perfect plan is the one you follow consistently.
Which also means there isn’t a perfect single plan.
Life throws different stuff at us when we least expect it and even when we expect it, it might not be the stuff we were expecting.
We can plan to go to the gym on the way home from work on a Wednesday night, to
find the motorway at a standstill and you getting home 2 hours late.
That’s when we need contingencies.
As in, if “Wednesday gym session is missed” then “I’ll do a lap of the block and 20 press ups.
Having a pre-planned option takes the pressure off and makes it more likely that you will actually do something.
I meet so many people who have their mind set on the perfect nutrition
plan to walk in to the office for their bosses birthday donut celebrations. You might be a better person than me and be able to say no but I have donut manners and if one is offered I’m going to say thank you 😉
However, you could enjoy it and have - If day time nutrition not great, then reduce evening portion size appropriately. Or if cakes are a part of the working week, then takeaways will not be part of the weekend.
The key is
that they are fixes that you can follow.
If you need help, we’re here for you.
