If you have been abstaining from anything for Lent, tomorrow is the day you can have it again.
The most important aspect is to not take the P!55.
It really isn't necessary to eat every single Easter egg you receive, something I'm not very good at sticking too.
The first year I was going steady with Fran, she gave up Chocolate and Crisps for Lent. I bought her 40 bags of assorted
crisps and 40 different chocolate bars, from what I can remember we ate the lot with the help of her sister.
The next day we felt like crap, hence the reason for not taking the P.
If you over do it on anything you've been avoiding, your body will not thank you for it.
Your digestive system will be in bits, you will have a hangover on Monday (even if you haven't drank alcohol).
It's the only time I suggest moderation.
Try to limit what you have and savour it, enjoy
every glass or mouthful. Take your time and enjoy it.
I'm going to try and cycle to Essex tomorrow, depending on weather conditions when I wake up. Fran is meeting me there for a family Easter lunch and we're picking up some mats for our gym on the way home (the wonders of eBay).
Therefore, we might not get back till very late and I might not get chance to message you, so enjoy Easter and time off with your family.
Darren 'cheesecake' Checkley
P.S. I've just
really enjoyed a slice of chocolate and hazelnut cheesecake that one of my clients made me, I really took my time to savour every bite rather than just shoving it in like I usually do. So worth it :)
You can see a picture of it on Facebook.
