This afternoon a group of Team Achievers completed the WOLF Run in Warwickshire.
It's a 10k cross country wild running challenge.
The challenge bit including an icy lake swim, ankle deep mud for a couple of kilometres to trudge through, logs, mud, monkey bars, muds, hay bales, slides, jumps, climbs, mud, crawling, mud, log walls and the hardest part for me the cargo net. I really don't like heights.
The group was made up of Achieve Bootcamp
& Coaching members both past and present, students and parents from Shaolin Freestyle and some of their friends.
Everybody was so supportive and helped, cheered, pushed and pulled each other around the course.
As I ran along with with some of the groups, I felt an amazing sense of pride about what everyone had been through to get to the point where they were ready to take on the challenge.
Our Team Achieve Members are normal people with real lives, they have the same
problems and struggles as you. And on top of that, they choose to spend their weekend overcoming a challenge.
Challenges still to come this year are The National 3 Peaks, The Yorkshire 3 Peaks, multiple half-marathons, marathons, triathlons of all lengths from sprint to ironman and the John O'Groats to Lands End bike ride.
I'm sure we'll be entering a few more WOLF and adventure 10k's too.
They add purpose to fitness, which in turn makes it more interesting and something
to strive towards.
If you are finding your current fitness programme boring and would like to try something a little more fun and work towards something that will make you feel proud, our next bootcamp starts this coming Monday.

We're back over at the WOLF run tomorrow to support some of our friends and more Team Achieve Members. If you want to catch up for a quick chat, let me know and I'll sort out a time.
