During Lent, I wrote a daily email based on my experiences in health, nutrition and fitness, the feedback we had was brilliant.

Everyone who read the emails really benefitted from the advice and as a bonus found them entertaining.

However, I screwed up in the same way that most people who have a goal do.

I achieved my goal, writing 40 daily emails, but I didn't have a follow on plan.

I did what every dieter in the world has done at some point on their journey; I reached the end and went back to my doing what I always did.  Which from a dieters point of view gets you quickly back to where you started.

Today, I'm starting a new challenge on the writing front.  I'm going to commit to writing at least 4 emails per week and aim for Monday to Friday, I'm also aiming to take more time off from technology at the weekends.

Yesterday, a group from Team Achieve (including Fran) went over to Stratford to take part in their first triathlon.

The conditions were much better than expected after looking at the weather reports but still not kind.  It was particularly windy and made worse by the climb on the bike up the busy A46 on the way back into Stratford.

I was relieved when everyone arrived back to the leisure centre safely for their run.

Judging by the smiles afterwards, everyone really enjoyed it and I think most will be signing up to another one in the future.  Fran swore a little at my suggestion that she do another one, although seems to be wavering a little today :)

I'm sure I won't offend anyone when I say that none of the group are natural athletes but they made me so proud by digging in in harsh conditions to just get it done.

They confirmed my decision last week about making our bootcamp programme application only, more news on that and a summer offer tomorrow.

My life is enhanced by helping 'Ordinary People Achieve Extraordinary Things' and every member of Team Achieve rocked the triathlon.

I want to work with people who want to achieve more from their health and fitness programme; our members are an inspiration to me and each other and I want to keep it that way.

If you are thinking about joining us, keep your eyes peeled for tomorrows email.
