I had a fight this morning

and I loved every minute of it.

It wasn't just a random street fight with a hoody who tried to nick my bike or an angry driver who got too close but a legitimate and organised spar.

I hired a local scout hut and arranged to meet one of my best mates for a training session and little rumble. Remember I'm from a martial arts background and Graham has been one of my sparring partners for over 25 years, he also makes a great cake.  Check his stuff out on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/Bakeology

I have lots going on in my head at the moment and for me sparring is a little bit like meditation and a way to vent some pent up emotions.  It's not good to keep anything bottled up inside and having a chat with a good friend while comparing Mo's and jabbing each other in the face does wonders for my mindset.

Movember is all about men discussing their problems and opening up to their friends, what better way than during a rumble.

You don't have to kick your mates in the face to get stuff off your chest, a chat over a pint works just as well :)

Just get stuff off your chest, don't bottle it up.  It only makes things worse in the long run.

P.S.  Time to step it up a little with todays November Man challenge:

30 Press Ups
15 Burpees
