Recipes - Turkey, Turkey everywhere and not a bite to eat.

Published: Fri, 12/26/14

We had 10 people over for dinner yesterday to celebrate Christmas.  It was a great day of indulgence and merriment.

Our guests were great too and go the washing up done and packed away before they left so the only evidence of Christmas happening is the masses of left-over turkey we have.  Fran didn't even have any in her sandwiches last night as she had bought some cheese.

We were also super organised with our turkey though, we stripped it of meat and were left with just the bones which we then bubble away with some extra veggies to make a stock.  The house smells of a really tasty soup smell today.

That stock will be used to make soups and other recipes in to the New Year, we just freeze it in portions.

We've made a little recipe leaflet to use up the spare turkey and veg.  Everything on it has been tried and tested in previous years and tastes great.

No need to worry about boring dry turkey sandwiches for the next week.
