Don't worry this isn't a blog about the size of mens appendages, it's about how much of a difference 4" can make.
One of our January Jeans Challengers lost 4" off her waist over the past four weeks. That's pretty much two dress sizes from around the middle, which is fantastic.
That means clothes will fit differently.
New clothes will be a happy option rather than worrying what if there will be overhang or muffin tops in the changing rooms.
Everyone who came to our measurements session had lost inches from all over their bodies and are well on their way to being the shape they want to be.
The key now is for them to be consistent with their nutrition and exercise plans. They're in luck though because that is the bit we take care of. Our members are held accountable to us and can have their food plans checked daily if they find it helps.
I'm actually going to start posting mine in our accountability group to keep me on track.
One thing that was highlighted during our measurements session was how weight can really distort the opinion of how well a person has done. The number on the scales rarely reflects the true body achievement of the person standing on them.
I'll write more about this on Friday, it's Fran's turn to blog tomorrow.
