Get your Pump on - it makes you Sexy!

Getting your Pump on is a term used in the fitness and body building world to refer to pumping up a specific body part.


When I first started working in the industry, we used to go out as a gym team most weekends.  We'd meet at the gym before we went out and have a pump session.


It was basically a workout that focussed on the mirror muscles, chest and arms mainly.  To get some blood flow going through them and increase the size, albeit temporarily.


​The reason - the chicks digged it.  Well in our heads they did.  


Although on a primal level, we were doing the right thing; bigger arms and a more solid chest suggests a better mate.  That was definitely the aim in those days ;)


With that in mind and because I'm spending most of the day prancing around topless at a spa day, todays exercise is Press Ups.


40 reps again, slowly if possible.  If you do them in 8 sets of 5 thats cool.
