It's all about that bass!

Yesterday the Lent get moving challenge was to do 40 Squats; technically it's possible to do that in a little over 40 seconds although it could also take just under 5 minutes if you were to focus on tempo / pace.

The amount of work and how you're legs feel afterwards would be very different.

During this first week, I want you to slow things down.  The exercises will feel much harder and obviously take a little longer.

We're going to go with a 4-1-2 tempo; this means take 4 seconds on the way down, pause for a second at the bottom and 2 seconds on the way up.

While you're getting used to it, it's a good idea to watch the clock (no pun intended).  Our tendency is to go a little too quickly.

Keep the movement smooth throughout, rather than getting to the bottom and waiting.
