... if you are doing well on your diet?

Our members can send us a food diary every day, this helps in many ways; accountability being one of the major ones for success.  It's not compulsory but we do notice that the members who send in their daily journals generally stick to the plan and achieve more.


Sending in food diaries and journals means that we can also guide our members down the best path for them.  There isn't a perfect diet to follow; we all have different nutritional needs.  However, a consistent diet that has been tweaked for the individual will always perform better long term than the one a celebrity is following from a magazine.


.. your fitness is improving?

Each month during our bootcamps we run a grading.  It sounds a lot scarier than it actually is.  


It's simply one of our workouts that we time, everybody has only one person to beat - themselves.  It means each month our members know if they are heading in the right direction or if they have let their foot slip off the gas a little.  This week we have had some amazing improvements in times and performances.


Not all of our members like being tested, there is no pressure to go for a new grade, they just join in the work out as they would at any session.  


The gradings get a little tougher as our members get further in to their fitness journey.  We have recently handed out our first black tag in Achieving :)  A few more will be awarded soon.

At the end of each 4 week block of Achieve Bootcamp we hold a weighing and measuring session for our members.  We take their circumference measurements and weight using medical grade (super accurate) scales in private and discuss the results.


By using circumferences we can see what exactly is happening in their bodies and offer suggestions that will help specifically with any areas that aren't moving.  Rather than a simple 'ooo, no change on the scales', we can actually explain why that might be the case and with the circumferences show that the results are not dependent on the reading on the scales.

P.S. We're a week in to the Lent Daily Exercise Challenge, as a result things are going to get a little tougher.  A combination today; 40 Squats & 40 Press Ups - again they don't need to be completed in one go but I would like you to do them in as few blocks as possible.
