It's payday weekend and the weather doesn't look too horrendous, which generally means most of Facebook will be going on a mad one.
About how they hate their jobs and can't wait to get out tonight and get wasted.
I haven't got a problem about the getting wasted bit bizarrely; I have had many
weekends where I have barely known my own name while owning the dance floor in Scholars.
However, I wasn't trying to numb the pain of a sh!t job, I just like to try hard in everything I do and that included trying to be the best drunk on a night out. Competitive partying if you like :)
I've mentioned a few times over the past couple of weeks that a job you don't like is
fine if it gives you the resources to do the things you want outside of work. That was meant as leisure pursuits or holidays rather than simply getting hammered.
If you don't like your job, take steps to change it. Go on a course, read articles on the internet, think about what you really want to achieve out of life. Remember I want to change the world, I know that might be one person at a time but I'll get
there.
Don't settle if you are not happy. You have the power to change.
If you want to be fitter, do something about it.
If you want to improve your diet, do it.
Obviously, we are here to help with both of those.
