Enjoy it ...

We're reminded on an almost weekly basis at the moment that life is precious and can be taken away in an instant.

We only get one chance at it so you should really try to enjoy it.

That doesn't mean throw nutrition and exercise to the wind and spend the rest of your days eating crap and sobbing about the house in your pants because that could shorten the length and quality of your life.

It means don't do things that you are not enjoying for the sake of it or because somebody else told you too.

If you are following a diet plan that you hate and eating cardboard, you are not going to be able to stick to it forever and will ultimately fail.

Food is amazing and should be enjoyed, tasty food doesn't have to be full of crap.  I've just eaten an amazing piece of fish and some veggies that didn't take very long to prepare at all.

I still eat cake and treats if I want to and I seem to be getting better results than I have when I have tried to be uber strict.  I'm enjoying a more flexible approach.

It's better for the long term and my brain.

Exercise is the same, if you're not enjoying, change it.  Obviously I'm biased about our groups but we get a good workout and have some really good banter too which makes the time slip by.

I love getting out on my bike, I know others who hate it.  If you're not enjoying he plan you're on, switch it until you find something you enjoy.

Over the next four weeks at Achieve Bootcamp we are switching things around.  Looking at alternative methods of dieting and fitness training.
