One of my 1-1 clients has fast food 3 times per week and he's rocking his goals.
Note I said fast food and not crap take away food.
A
trainer client of mine told me about a company that did ready meals that were 'clean' and could be tailored to the individual. He uses it with his 1-1 clients and really rates them.
It started me thinking about other options and I looked in to a few meal delivery systems.
My client booked a trial with one of them called Guosto. It's quite expensive at £30 for 3 meals for two but the convenience is worth it.
He is away quite a lot at the minute and gave us a weeks supply (3 meals) as he wouldn't have been at home enough to enjoy them. We had a ridiculously busy day yesterday and took advantage of
the convenience.
You still have to cook everything yourself but the meals come as the ingredients and a recipe card. Each ingredient is only a small pot of the amount you need, eg a tbsp of olive oil, a tsp of chilli flakes.
You can literally throw it all
together and cook.
We had Harissa burgers with salad for breakfast, a tasty fish dish and an amazing chicken curry, recipe to follow soon.
If you are short on time but want to focus on real food they are a great option. Another client of mine is trying a different company, I'll let you know how it
goes.
Our Team Achieve members get one of our recipe books when they join. It is full of easy to prepare real food dishes that taste great, we don't give them the ingredients to make them though, maybe we should :)

P.P.S. Having a burger for breakfast is a much better option than cereal, the meat was good quality, we didn't have a bun and it sustained us both through till way in to the afternoon.
P.P.P.S. Another way of thinking about it is
that a burger is only the same as a sausage but the skin fell of and the it got crushed.
