Earlier in the week I wrote about being happy with who you are.
Obviously it's not as easy as just saying 'ok, f*ck all the negative thoughts in my head, I love myself and will be happy from now on'.
However, there does need to be a starting point.
Why not make that today, it's called Good Friday, that's got to be a good reason to get started on changing the way
you talk to yourself.
Our negative self speak seriously affects our ability to achieve the body we want.
How can you improve the way you look if you don't feel worthy of that body, that you don't feel like you deserve it.
What if somebody paid you a compliment? How do you react?
How would you react if the paid that compliment about your body?
Sometimes it's difficult
to accept a compliment, we get embarrassed, shy try to knock it back with a humbled thanks; rather than accepting that you are actually really good at something.
When that compliment is about your body, does it make you shiver with fear, waiting for the next comment to be a withdrawal or bitchy remark?
Make today the day you start using better language to yourself, if you screw it, it doesn't matter start again. Straight away, not
tomorrow.
Look for the positives in your day. Write them down, send them to me if you like.
When you start looking for positives, bizarrely you find them. You can then focus on the positives and that makes less room for negatives.
It doesn't happen over night but it does happen. You will then start noticing how others around you are being negative about themselves. Encourage them to make a
change.
One by one, we can make the world a more positive place to live. If only for yourself.
