Happy Easter

Today is the day when all chocolate inhibitions go out of the window.  Lots of people give up choice for Lent then go crazy for it and make themselves feel sick.

I remember when Fran and I first started dating, she gave up chocolate and crisps for Lent.  For her Easter present I bought her 40 bars of chocolate and 40 bags of crisps to make up for the lost time.

I think we managed to polish them off on Easter Sunday with a little help from Fran's sister, Roo.

I don't recommend you try such a feat but if you have some chocolate around the house and fancy having it, do so.

If you are on a diet or following a set nutrition plan, it doesn't matter.  One day isn't going to make a massive difference to your results.

Eat the chocolate without guilt, don't beat yourself up about failing.  Those emotions should never be associated with food.

However, don't use it as an excuse to stop trying on your diet.  Have the blip and get straight back on track.

If you still have lots of spare chocolate around the house and don't want to resist temptation, bring it to one of our bootcamps tomorrow and we'll pass it on to a friend who helps people that are less fortunate.

I'd like to say we're spending the rest of the day eating chocolate but I can't as we ate it all during the week and we have none left :)

Fran did make some sweet potato brownies yesterday that are sort of chocolatey, so we can crack in to those.

P.S.  The final day of the Daily Lent Challenge - A simple one, just do 100 burpees.  As always, they don't have to be done in one go just get them done over the course of the day.  It will make the chocolate worth it ;)
