Do you suffer with IBS?
For the first time in my life I can truly understand what you go through on a daily basis and sympaphise with you.
At the weekend we went away to Cornwall with friends. Friends who drink cider.
I've never really been a fan of cider, I'd have a pint every now and again as it's quite refreshing but never really drank it exclusively on a night out.
We went to a great restaurant that serves about 80 types of cider and great pizzas on our first night and that sort of set the scene.
I was expecting a bit of a hangover as I got a bit wobbly. I wasn't expecting though other issues cider brings.
I had a little bit of stomach cramps but thought nothing of it. The weekend continued I had a few more pints of cider and then my tummy issues got
worse.
I had a dodgy belly and didn't feel that comfortable being too far away from a rest stop.
That feeling lasted for a couple of days after we got home.
It's not enjoyable at all and it made we wonder why people put up with it on a full-time basis.
I have written about Idiot Bowel Syndrome in the past and now I feel even more strongly about it.
It is not normal to have
a dodgy gut that you can't trust. If that is happening you need to get it sorted.
There are generally 3 things that are causing it.
1. You are eating something on a regular basis that doesn't work for your body.
2. You are taking a medication that has a side affect of upsetting the balance in your gut.
3. You have a bug - not technically IBS but the symptoms are still the
same.
We have helped literally hundreds of people over the past 6 years establish exactly what is causing their IBS and how to manage it on a long term basis.
Some of them follow our advice and never suffer again, others go back to their old habits and return to suffering again. Hence the Idiot Bowel Syndrome, you'd have to be an idiot to put up with it if you know what is causing the problem.
